While there are many cons, at the top of the list is shockingly poor leadership. From the CEO to the "L1s, L2s and L3s", they are all people who have been a Liberty a long time and value one thing - telling people what to do and having it be done without regard to thought, common sense or strategy. Senior leaders see themselves as elite, and untouchable and have utterly no concept of what the real employee experience is like - nor do they care. The company is in a constant state of reorganization and it's getting worse by the day. Most of the time spent at work is spent figuring out how to work and it's completely inane. Liberty has some of the most unhappy people I've ever encountered and it's prevalent in most areas of the company. But leaders just keep behaving in their awful, pacesetting way so nothing will change.

Horrible senior managers and executives. Worse HR executives and team. Don’t care at all. No planning, no foresite of technology future. Started and stopped 3 different company wide initiatives in last 6 years. Last one made exec’s panic and laid off 10% of technology staff. Those who stayed are miserable and one foot out the door. DO NOT WORK HERE FOR A FEW YEARS!!
