Rewarding work in healthcare with important responsibilities

Pros

The work is not hard. Meeting new people and becoming a family. Learning the behind the scenes of patient care. I want to stick with health care just not the physical part. This was a great way to contribute to healthcare service.

Cons

Just being careful when put in lab code and making sure you don't miss a test can cause an issue in patient care. Just be mindful of someone life is actually in your hands just with a tab of a number.

When necessary the team comes together to help and make it through the day

Cons

Too much pressure. They only care about how many patients they can see and how fast you can see them. They’re always complaining about how slow you are with a patient not considering anything that the patient is going through. They only see numbers. They do not care about the employees or the patients. Just numbers.

Management horrible Promotions are given to managers favorites not by performance Always cut overtime but expect you to do so many task that are unrealistic without staying over the workday to complete. Short staffed, patients constantly complain and then the metrics can not be met because the patient volume is too high.
