I would like to say there are lots of pros working for JYSK but unfortunately I cannot as there are none

Cons

Total lack of training, support and direction. Development non existent Communication poor Management style dictatorial Total lack of concern for employees Customer First is just a strap line it means nothing

Pros

Sometimes they buy you lunch. Good learning experience.

Cons

Managers expect you to do things without any direction or guidance, for someone who is a new employee or new to the work force, this is very bad. They also micro manage every little thing. Constantly skipping breaks to keep up with work load. Some associates on the floor also are not allowed to take breaks until they finish their work.

Hmmmm... It is the perfect job for someone who wants to work (unsafely at times) a lot of hours for very little money. And training! They had decent training outside the store for management.

Cons

- pay - management - benefits start at 6 months in - don't care about workplace safety practices in the actual store - not great furniture - and overpriced - district manager was a bully - long hours, understaffed at times
