Pros

Helping those individuals who really need the support to remove barriers preventing them into work and gaining job satisfaction from seeing the journey the clients go on into employment Excellent salary I was paid £27,315 Excellent work colleagues the best I've ever worked with

Cons

Unrealistic targets advisors were expected to get 21 clients into work each quarter bear in mind most of the clients hadn't worked for over 20 years were on drugs or suicidal. Terrible system in place whereby if you don't hit the target your put on psp which is basically a process where they give you an option to quit before being sacked. It's also where management talk about what could be done to achieve targets although many have not been advisors on the work programme and would be in no position to hit target if they had a caseload.

Pros

Work colleagues try to pull together despite redundancies.

Cons

Despite helping thousands of people back into work, they have been quite ruthless in axing their own people in 2015 & 2016.

Pros

The other advisor were wonderful people

Cons

Working at Ingeus will shave years off your life. There is no feel good factor. The managers are not(and never have been) qualified for the role. The stress and pressure is relentless. They constantly try to catch you out. It wears a bit thin after a while. It's a bullying environment from top to bottom. The majority of clients are ok but they have no intention of getting a job. None whatsoever. Some of them can be very aggressive with a very poor attitude. There has been a change in the quality of clients that are getting sent over. It's now the ones that have been playing the system for years. The targets have been set by someone who clearly doesn't have a clue about the job. The amount of staff that have left would leave other companies concerned. Saves on redundancies I suppose. The senior management team couldn't run a bath. They are overpaid, condescending and have no moral compass. I do not know how they live with themselves. If you get offered a job here, take it - then you can see how truly awful it is and you can add your review. The more people who see how abhorrent these senior managers are and how their policies effect poor people who choose not to work and abdicate all responsibility of their live to the state the better.
