      Pros

      The opportunity to work in the school market. Excellent for experienced reps in the business. They can actually build a business and control their schedule.

      Cons

      Not really good at training new reps in the industry. The training wasn't there. It was promised but never happened. You had to reach out to experienced reps to build a foundation and split commission.

      Confusing and Unprofessional

      Pros

      The location of the office in Atlanta. Also, they have the best caferia in any state that I have ever worked in. The guard and cafeteria staff are the brightest points of working at ING. They are nice, happy and positive and do not allow the rude and dysfunctional people who work there affect their attitudes!

      Cons

      During my time at ING, 99% of management was extremely unprofessional. Sometimes, they did not know what they were doing and quite frankly, we flew by the seat of our pants 90% of the time. Also, camaraderie does not exist at ING. IING has the absolute rudest employees. Managers go out of their way it ignore their favorites and you rarely get a smile or a nod from your fellow employees. Someone needs to put an attitude adjustment in the water filtration system there.

      Very stressful phone job but great benefits

      Pros

      You get really great benefits and paid time off right off the bat. The people are very friendly and the trainers are really helpful. They also have a great program where if you have to commute a long distance to work and there is a snowstorm they will put you up in a nice hotel near the job.

      Cons

      Very stressful job because you are dealing with people's 401(k)s and retirement money. A lot of people don't understand the laws and rules around their 401(k)s and take it out on you. You also are not allowed to stand up for yourself or ask people to calm down or anything, you just have to take what the customer dishes out at you. They also throw new clients at you regardless of if they think you're ready or not.
