      Good Internship Experience for Resume, Not a youthful environment

      Pros

      The name and industry are great for your resume, big companies are aware of what IFF is all about an its successes.

      Cons

      Nearly everyone in the company is 40+ and many of times there is nothing to do. You find yourself making busy work. I have asked my boss for projects to be assigned to me and often times he has one or two "projects" which include reading over a document etc.

      The ability to create something that the rest of the people don't know what is all about (flavors and fragrances)
