Humana always is asking for more. Whatever you do, its never enough.

Humana offers overtime when business is needed. Commision structure is appealing and company pays both hourly and commission with yearly raises.

Cons

No holidays off, schedules change and no job security. The company never tell you what is going on, no one in supervisor roles are professional and educated. Very stressful, Humana will never be on the employees side, the customer no matter in what wrong can have the employee fired. As an employee humana always ask for more and its never good enough. The environment is negative from the moment you walk in the building.

Pros

The pay and benefits for a medicare sales representative are great. You're not in an office all day. The Medicare Advantage products are really some of the best around.

Cons

Not many opportunities for advancement. Very political. Forced to sell overpriced proprietary products for which you will not be adequately compensated. No set job description-- expected to perform sales, customer service, marketing, provider relations,and clerical functions.

If you work hard and are in a good area, you will be rewarded; many opportunities; the work is challenging, exciting, and fun.

Cons

First/Entry level position was not fun and had poor leadership - but once you earn your place, it's worth it.
