-editors are generally very helpful if you ask -great insight into how a magazine is put together -everyone works close together -friendly work enviornment

Cons

-unpaid..even a small stipend would help! -long hours -not always treated fairly -not much training

-They really push you to become better - Management generally cares about the concerns of their employees, whether or not they act upon them - Communication is strong between management and employee

Cons

- A meat-grinder mentality that can cause a lot of stress throughout the employees and causes burnout and high turnover - Little communication and rationality in allowing certain tasks to be completed effectively
