Pros

Decent pay rate. Great Medical and Dental Insurance - although you can't take off work to use it.

Cons

Not allowed to use medical and dental insurance without being penalized. Facility manager is completely oblivious to policy and procedure and clueless as to personnel relations. Visits by upper management are ALWAYS announced when surprise visits would actually show the real problems so they can get fixed.

Pros

FedEx has really good benefits. There are plenty of opportunities to rise within the organization if you are willing to play their game and that usually means stepping on whomever is needed to get there.

Cons

- managers that don't know how to manage - try to threaten PT employees with firing if they don't stay overtime (this is not a part of the initial hiring agreement) - fire without cause - hostile work environment - active bullying by management and others on leadership - so many other smaller things that there is just not enough time to mention

Fedex freight is a good company to work for if you are looking for competitive pay and employee benefits.

Cons

No maternity leave options for part time employees. Inflexible when it comes to working with employees with children. They preferred to lose me as an employee than to work with my schedule.
