Pros

The location got you exposure to many important/ interesting people. The do teach you to work with 4 star professionalism . As a big hotel many more Departments and positions They include meals and uniform and paid half hour break. Hilton as a brand has some of the best benefits including maternity pay and big discounts when traveling to other Hilton’s. Don’t finish later than 9 pm(for say non night shifts)

Cons

There is rarely room at this specific Hotel for career progression. The Hotel is very big therefore its a very transactional work, there rarely is time to actually take courses to learn and upgrade your knowledge. They don’t have a full time concierge.

Pros

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

Cons

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
