Pros

If you like getting yelled at every day

Cons

Cox's costumers are angry, very angry. The company is just scammy and has terrible marketing. The customers are angry for the right reasons. Cable is too expensive and all the other fees are insane. 90% of the calls you will get will be from people on the edge of canceling services. Your job will be to do credits, calm customers down and take a beating on behalf of Cox. They also expect you to sell, or else you get fired. You are also expected to get excellent ratings, or you get fired. Get ready to walk into a factory where you are treated like a slave for 11 dlls an hour. They change your schedule how they feel like it. Three months I was there it was changed five times... training is useless. Focused on selling, that is if you can even pay attention with all the loud coworkers who talk over the instructor and just act ratchet. I dont recommend this place at all.

Pros

Good managers, great, helpful coworkers, I made several good friends at the office.

Cons

The contracts with their corporate customers inevitably end or are not renewed so there’s uncertainty if there will be another team to join.

Pros

Paid on time, provided equipment, decent benefits from day one, nice co-workers

Cons

Sweatshop mentality of the supervisors, threats of demotion/termination for medical leave, random layoffs when calls didn't justify hours, with those same hours shifted to supervisors to keep them active. Unable to print paystubs, had to request everything through a supervisor, and provide copious amounts of private information to have the request honored. Corrosive environment - I left as soon as I got another offer, gave 24 hours notice (and I've never, ever done that before). Unless you're on the verge of homelessness or starvation, avoid at all costs.
