Pros

Prior to their buyout, the Hyder brand (and Hyder group companies) had a good reputation and good brand - although perhaps rather low salaries compared to average. Since they became part of Arcadis, things are rapidly going downhill

Cons

Arcadis has very short-termist company attitudes. Mid/Top-level management appears to have no real idea what their workforce can do or does do on a daily basis. There appears to be no overall goal or aim to the business other than to "expand" (by way of acquisitions) and no real direction on how the company proceeds after a merger.
