Pros

The Databricks culture in EMEA is amazing. Whilst I knew I was joining a rocketship I did not fully appreciate the journey I was on. 6 months in, I have learnt loads, met amazing colleagues in a phenomenally fast growing team/region, exceeded my own expectations and won an award! You will work very hard here but you will also be surrounded by people who want you to be successful and will support you to get there.

Cons

If you are not at the top of your game, you will fall behind so be prepared to bring your best.

Pros

Excellent technology and a rocket ship with huge growth

Cons

Micromanagement to strictly follow sales methodology. No work-life-balance because of a lot of internal reviews and senseless requests. Poor sales leadership that creates a culture of fear through threats and derailed monitoring. Not clear and changing requirements created by sales leadership

Pros

+ Great transparency. + Employees are encouraged to challenge things they see in order to make them better without egos seen at a lot of high-growth companies. + Exciting and fast-growing industry. + Great customers. + Big focus on personal development to achieve your career goals. + Great team culture where people take ownership of their roles and jump in to help one another. + Smart and talented coworkers.

Cons

- Fast growth so some details were skipped that now need to be fixed, such as building processes and foundations for some programs. - Long hiring process (it's good for ensuring high quality talent, but can take a very long time to get someone onboard)
