Pros

The first and most important positive: the EMEA teams, with boots on the ground, doing the real work in the region are made of extraordinary people. Some of the most honest and kind Sales people I've ever met are in the Sales and Alliance teams at CrowdStrike EMEA. I only hope they keep rewarding these passionate workers. Second positive: their product is the best in the market. Competitors are trying to get closer but nothing can beat Falcon. If you are looking for a cybersecurity vendor, look no further, sign a contract with CrowdStrike!

Cons

People disappear from one day to another, as an example: Crowdstrike stretches the laws of redundancies to fire highly paid people to replace them with junior staff paying 1/2 the salary. You connect the computer to join the customer's call only to get surprised: "You don't work here anymore". I partially blame this bad culture on the fact their ERGs are powerless. Women of Crowdstrike ERG only exist to share a daily woman in history (as if the workplace needs more overeducated underpaid women). The LGBTQ+ ERG did nothing for Pride Month nor did the Black Community ERG during Black History Month. But don't get me wrong: sexism, racism and homophobia are alive and well at Crowdstrike organisation. Forget work-life balance, at the onboarding training you will hear "If you want to finish your work at 6 pm, this is not the company for you" - But of course, during recruitment this is not the message you will hear.

Pros

I firmly believe in the product. Market leader.

Cons

Company doesn’t live by its core values. Unethical behavior by managers is tolerated, so I assume this problem goes all the way up to the top. The Security organization has an unhealthy culture where verbal abuse and bullying is tolerated. CEO George Kurtz must know about this, but nothing happens to CSO Shaun Henry or his leadership team. There is no anti-bullying policy and, even if there were, HR is useless and only exists to protect the company. They will say “talk to your HR business partner” but by doing so, you out yourself and then become the target of reprisals. The “Code of Ethics and Business Conduct” is a sham. I feel sorry for anyone who actually reports a concern only to be made miserable so that they leave the company.

Pros

Stock price. Work always available. Work remotely. Flexible time off.

Cons

Corporate non-compliance through out levels. Cares only about Wall Street. Security became a gimmick. It is a fantastic place only if you are a white, particularly white male. The best opportunities reserved for favorites. Zero career growth others. Mediocre compensation. Paltry benefits. Zero accountability. Guilt-free prejudice, daily bias. Growing hypocritical culture. Deceitful hostile sales. Many useless meetings.
