Growing industry and aging workforce

Cons

Seemingly no thoughtful strategy in place for the Company and how it will move forward. Lots of “spin” but Company actions contradict the marketing spin. The Renewables business is an exception with exciting growth and clear strategy as well as consistency with the actions of the business.

Good pay, good benefits, smart people, theoretically inspiring product, pretty stable.

Cons

The most top-down place I’ve ever worked. Toxic culture, low morale, millions of VPs, poor leadership culture with most managers focused on managing up, zero empowerment of mid-level staff. If you’re not Spanish or a former Enron employee, you’re at a huge disadvantage. Administrative hurdles have gotten more and more onerous and at this point it’s difficult to get things done.
