Pros

Very decentralized culture - lots of flexibility to do what you want with minimal supervision. Fun to work around really smart people. Great, trusted reputation within industry and customers.

Cons

Most of the clout within the company lies with fellows and senior IC design people. Very conservative decision-making style that can be slow and methodical. Career advancement can be very slow - especially from entry level to mid-level mangement.

Pros

Good vacation and bonus structure. Diversified international employees. Respected 45 year old company who have alot of patented IP & products. Well paid.

Cons

Management communications are constantly mixed. HR are not to be trusted. Company is split into three main divisions and on division gets all the attention and they other two are considered the the laggards.

Pros

Great compensation, colleague and work environment. Many people have been working in ADI for ten or even twenty years.

Cons

The progress of project is sometimes very slow. And there are sometimes too many rules to follow. In general, a little bit conservation.
