I was asked 3 questions. The first one was on the concept of probability." You have been given 3 balls which are numbered as 1, 2 and 3 and they are placed inside a bag. You randomly select 3 balls, one ball at a time. Considering your selection, you win if at least one selection number matches with the number on the ball. So for example if you get ball with number 1 on your first draw you call this as win. So the question what are the chances of winning if you do this with replacement versus without replacement

I attended the automated video interview. It started with introducing myself, then explaining a CGG technology, the physics and mathematics behind it. It was followed by high-school level mathematics and optics questions, like a linear function, mirages, rainbows, etc. Questions about a research project I had done and how it may help CGG. Why interested in this role? Any example of going beyond your duties/ responsibilities to achieve an objective.
