I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
The whole process is not professional. The interviewer didn't call at first time as scheduled, and no recruiter follows me up until I asked. The phone interview asked two technical questions and coding on shared document. I resolved questions and still got rejected and they refuse to share the feedback. There was less communication during the interview and the interviewer was doing something else. It feels like a teacher is watching you are doing an exam, instead of communicating ideas.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2018
Interview
first a phone interview with online coding. After a few days, get the onsite interview invitation. The onsite is scheduled 2 weeks later. Onsite is 5 rounds. 2 design, 2 coding, 1 with hiring manager.
Overall very positive. all interviewers are very nice. the hiring manager is very nice as well.
