I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Uber in Dec 2015
Interview
Was first contacted 3 months after I applied online. I was told the reason for this delay was that the position I applied to at the moment was already filled so I was put on a kind of backlog. They said they were calling with no specific position in mind as they liked my profile and wanted to begin the recruiting process to see if I would be a good match for another position. I had a 30 mins interview with a recruiter. Very general stuff but they did asked why I wanted to work with Uber (considering I was currently employed), why I would be good fit for the company and even my salary expectation. Then I received an email to take an analytics test which I won (very heavy on excel analysis, if you're not good with pivot tables you might not be able to finish in the two hours they give you). Then I had another interview with a San Francisco based recruiter which I thought went very well but to my surprise I was never contacted again. It's been 2 months since then and I have sent him several emails asking for an update on my application but got no replies whatsoever. I guess I was discarded but it was kind of unprofessional that they simply stopped communicating after two interviews and a test. Even an automated email saying I was not a good match would've been enough.

Question 1
Salary expectation... What would you be a good fit for Uber?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Estocolmo, ) in Dec 2015
Interview
Rescheduled the Skype interview with the recruiter in the UK twice due to, what he explained, hectic Christmas party planning. When I finally got to speak to him he didn't seem engaged at all. Started with the old cliché questions and was jumping between subjects without making the effort to have a proper conversation.
