I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at UL Solutions (Northbrook, IL) in Jul 2015
Interview
I applied online and received an email for a phone interview about a week and a half later. The phone interview consisted of me talking about my resume and past experience/projects. Two days later I received another email for an in-person interview, which mostly consisted of personality questions. The whole process took about two and half weeks and was a very positive experience.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UL Solutions (Enfield, CT) in Feb 2013
Interview
The panel was unprepared. One of the three interviewers was handed my resume for the first time upon my arrival. The initial phone screening was chronologically disjointed and call-back dates were skipped or ignored by the initial contact who ultimately was not part of HR or the position itself. Because of the delays there was a rush for a start date which was uncomfortable for me and when I arrived for work my first day the company and my specific department was totally unprepared for me to begin work.

Interview
I applied online and got a feedback from HR very fast. The first interview was with HR and someone from the same group I applied for. The next inteview was an inhouse assessment.

Question 1
In the assessment they give me a dirty, old, and torn manual without page numbers and they asked me to write a 7 test program for a card. The interviewee came in every 10 minutes and asked what I did which was really disturbing. Eventually in the middle of the assessment they told me to go home because I was not fast enough.
