Remote (US) Customer Support Advocate Interview

      May 22, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Typeform in Apr 2020

      Interview

      1. Submit an online application. 2. Written response to sample customer support questions. 3. Video interview with recruiter. 4. Video interview with two San Francisco team members. 5. Video interview with Customer Success Manager in Barcelona and VP of Customer Success. ... Recruiter: Salary Range Written Test: Create a logic jump. Respond to request for swag. Respond to cancellation request. SF Team Members: Previous experience. Outside interests. One of the managers of customer success ( Barcelona ): Type(s) of managerial style(s) you prefer. One of the directors of Customer Success ( Barcelona ): Questions from this director bordered on "gotcha" questions to what I term "inferiority complex" questions ( i.e., Why would someone with your experience be interested in working at Typeform? ) Not sure if it has anything to do with the recent exit of employees from the company or if that is just the director's style. My overall experience was that the director lacks the qualities the company purportedly seeks in candidates: professionalism ( she excused herself before the interview was completed, interrupted responses, curt when asking for clarity on unclear information regarding team makeup ). If you are considering interviewing with this company, I would consider carefully the other reviews for the company, not just my experience.
