TikTok Software Engineer, Backend interview questions

First round was a phone call, interviewer was kind but all that was asked was HR questions. Interviewer was unhappy that I was unable to relocate, and did not get past the first round.

The technical rounds were thoughtfully designed, focusing on core competencies essential for the role, including data structures, algorithms, and system design, while also allowing ample time for me to explain my approach and thought process.
