I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Sunnyvale, CA)
Interview
1 Phone screen + Onsite for 4 hours. There is no reason to reject me. I see they are time passing and simply wasting the time of poor candidates. They just don't know what they really need. 2 of my interviewers are ineligible to interview any candidate as their tech skills are very bad and struggling to understand the basics. I don't recommend any one to go there with lots of hopes and waste their time. For sure, they don't hire you. Recruiter is in different world and he lied a lot to me. Their management should seriously look into and fix this.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Jan 2018
Interview
First contact over the phone with recruiter was no problem. Second phone technical screen was with a lead engineer that had no clue what to ask. Then he started asking questions about experience and then he asked a couple of technical questions that I answered correctly and he kept changing the scenario to try to get me to answer incorrectly. Weird!!

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Bengaluru)
Interview
case study + 2 technical rounds + director round.
a NP-hard problem was given in case study . basically a rest wrapper over cab routing algorithm. Interviewer was not able to digest graph based approaches suggested and just cared about CRUD.
Followed by 2 technical rounds.
Interviewers came with a word stuck in mind approach. If you were able to say that word you will be selected. They overcrowded the interview process. Had first round at 2 pm. Being an IIT alumnus and having worked with companies like microsoft/intuit etc. I wouldn't recommend it.Not a single line of code was being asked to write.
Only good thing was free lunch was provided.
