I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2012
Interview
The interview process for the internship is similar for their other positions. It is a serious of situation based questions. They ask you to respond with specific examples. And they want to see what sort of leadership you have. Just make sure when you answer them you think of specific incidents that happened that can answer the question. Don't be broad or too general. They are behavioral and situational so they want specific behaviors and situations.

Question 1
They were all unexpected because they are asking you to answer questions differently than most people normally would.
Short, quick, personable and exciting so you can't gauge how they feel. That said, very easy and fast process, does not require much preparation, just make sure you can pitch yourself well.
There was a total of three rounds. First was phone screening with recruiter, second was with a manager and third was with a panel of mangers at the distribution center.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Target (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2025
Interview
The initial step was a phone screening, where I learned a lot more about the company and position. I didn't proceed to the next round but the people I spoke with were very friendly.
