I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2018
Interview
Just forget about it...they’re gonna promote from within.
Trust me, it’s happened to me three times.
Twice, I got bumped after talking to their recruiter back east, the third I actually got a stage-type interview about as far away from my house in Portland as they could have sent me. Spent a great hour and a half touring the store, meeting people, getting a download on how things worked...only to have the recruiter call me, frustrated and in tears because - yup - they went with an internal. Again.

Question 1
What they should ask is “Is it ok if we waste a bunch of your time?”
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Mar 2019
Interview
Difficult, lengthy, (5 interviews total) Started out with a phone screen, then a phone interview with STAR questions and getting to know more about you, then another interview STAR heavy either on the phone or in store. I did not make it past this one.

Question 1
Why Target, Why a management position, Lots of STAR based questions
Tell me about a time when.....
There was a three part phone interview for the position. It was overall a positive experience. The girl was very sweet and the interview felt more conversational than an interview, which was nice.
