I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
Got contact by recruiter. The first round was a 30 min tech interview over Zoom meeting. They moved the process pretty fast and in the next day I was informed to attend onsite. Everything was fine up to this point. They scheduled my onsite almost 2 weeks after the tech interview. The onsite was at San Diego office and it took 1.5 hour. I was not given the info about when to expect feedback nor did I receive any feedback from them which makes me a not so positive impression.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Two coding questions. The first was a front end JS coding challenge to create query refiner-like selection boxes from the given raw data in object. Coding was performed directly on the laptop provided by interviewer. The next was a white board coding that is to write a function on the white board to return the subtree nodes under an input node from the raw data that represents the tree.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ServiceNow (Hyderabad) in Nov 2025
Interview
They asked me two medium-level DSA questions—one related to operations on two matrices and another focused on flattening a nested object. After completing those, they also asked conceptual and practical questions about debouncing and its real-world use cases in JavaScript.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2025
Interview
Two interviewers in a casual online setting, where we went over some of the basics of the job and then did a tech test involving navigating JSON data using javascript.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How to navigate a simple data structure with javascript.
It was an technical interview, and the interviewer had a lot to ask on backend. There were questions on Data structures and algorithms, which I dont think is much relevant for a front end role
