It was 45 minutes, pretty quick. Not a lot of stress placed on me by the interviewer, intended to be conversational which was nice. They mainly focused on whether I knew some technologies and why I wanted to work with them.
Really professional, pertinent question where asked.
They get to know you as a person and then ask some technical questions with actuary background . The HR will give you the feedbacks quickly
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Intact
Interview
I was invited to the first round of interview, and honestly, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in my 6 months of job hunting — out of 14 interviews! The interviewer started by introducing the role and the company, which was fine. Then he asked me to introduce myself, but halfway through, he cut me off and didn’t let me finish. Instead, he jumped straight into questions about my CV.
The weirdest part? He said, “You have experience with LLMs, but what’s your experience in NLP?” 🤯 My CV clearly showed my NLP work, yet he said they were only looking for industrial experience — personal projects and even my LLM-related work didn’t count as NLP. It was honestly ridiculous. It felt like a complete waste of time!
