After a very straightforward online application with some assessments, I got notified of going through to the AC stage during February. There was a pre-AC interview with the HR team, who asked some basic questions and gave a brief description of what to expect in the AC. The AC was scheduled for about 2 weeks after the pre-AC interview. On the day before the AC, we were invited for dinner with the Senior Director and another almuni of the SCMP program. It was really enjoyable, and was a great informal session to learn more about the company and the program. The AC was from about 7.30am to about 1pm. It consisted of 3 parts: a group case study + presentation (45min prep, 5min present), an individual case study + presentation (5min prep, 1 min present), and 2 individual interviews (30min each). The day was challenging but very enjoyable. I learnt a lot about the company and the program and was even more interested in it as a result. There was also a shop floor tour which was quite enlightening on how the day-to-day operations are run.
I found the entire process challenging yet fulfilling. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Supply Chain Management in an engineering industry. It's a great program and there is much effort put in to take care of the SCMP graduates. They want to see if you are a nice fit for them and also if you have leadership skills.
