First 15 minute interview was basic question about what you like why FDM group stuff like that. I didnt make it past that stage. They do also as you at the end to ask them questions so be prepared for that.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FDM Group (Montreal, QC) in Sep 2020
Interview
The interview process consisted of a mandatory information session, an online quiz, a recorded answer to questions, a technical interview, and a behavioural fit interview. The process was simple and straight forward, and we'll organised. There is a 4 month training period at 15$/h. Pay starts at 40k non-negotiable, with a 5k increase the second year. You locked in contact for 2 years with a 20k penalty for defaulting. You serve as an outsourced consultant during that time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2020
Interview
Initial screening with a recruiter over the phone. Second interview was a very run of the mill developer screening session where you are asked generic questions related to programming. Third interview is behavioural.
After the first initial screening there is a technical test consisting of questions that a 2/3rd year computer scientist should be able to answer.
Be wary of FDM, they feel the need to tout on their website that they follow the international anti slavery laws - an already bad sign. Very predatory company that preys on new grads. I recommend this as a very last option.
I did not do behavioural test, after finding out the business mode of FDM I contacted my recruiter after passing the 1:1 interview with a developer to withdraw from my candidacy and the behavioural interview - regardless of this I was still extended an offer which really underlies their ethically grey workings.
