Pretty good interview process, general questions about Machine Learning, coding tests (not like a super long hacker rank) but quite difficult for non experienced people, I think there is still some room for improvement.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2021
Interview
There was an initial recruiter screening and then I was given a case study on hotel room booking nights to be completed in 1 week. There were then 3 different interviews with the hiring manager, product manager, and senior manager. Finally, the case study presentation to all of the interviewers at once.
After 5 interviews, a case study that took a week and 1-2 more for presentation, I was not even sent an update email. 1 month after my final interview round, the JOB's LOCATION was changed from SEATTLE TO LONDON. No feedback. No courtesy or update email from either the recruiter or the hiring manager. This shows how unprofessional the team is at Expedia. I would not recommend any of my friends to apply to this company. Major red flag although it was one of my favorite companies to work at before they did this to me.

Interview
The whole process is very enjoyable. HR are very responsive and quick to provide interview feedback. I had nice conversations with the hiring manager and other interviewers. They clearly know their areas and are willing to explain their work to me.
