was set an assignment to complete within a week, with the next interview supposed to be a presentation of the assignment, in the meantime the recruiter called up and mentioned I was the preferred candidate. The assignment was a presentation based on some analysis, but the presentation was never scheduled in and I never heard from them again, despite chasing up a few times. So I completed a fairly time consuming assignment, to never be able to actually use it

The interview process is too long and involves many meaningless, repeated question across different interviewers. Almost all interviews are behavior question, nothing about product case or business question. I'm curious whether they only need employees that can answer behavior question. Besides, I think your company's interviewers need to respect others while asking questions. This is the first time that I encountered multiple interviewers from one company that display the same disrespectful and rude behavior -- Read questions in screen (even not prepare), don't pay attention to others' answer, disdainful expression -- I'm not sure whether this is Expedia's working environment...
