Title: Disappointing Experience with EY’s Interview Process
I recently went through three rounds of interviews with EY, and unfortunately, the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
First Interview: The initial round was with a recruiter, which felt rushed and impersonal. They seemed distracted, asked generic questions, and didn’t provide much clarity about the role. When I tried to ask questions to better understand the position and the team I’d be working with, the recruiter brushed them off, saying we’d get to that later in the process. It felt like my time and interest weren’t valued.
Second Interview: This was a technical round with a senior manager. I prepared extensively for this, but the interviewer didn’t seem interested in my answers. It was more of a monologue, with the interviewer jumping from topic to topic without engaging in any meaningful conversation. It was hard to gauge if I was doing well, as there was no feedback, and when I asked for clarification on one of the questions, the response felt dismissive.
