I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at ENGIE (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2017
Interview
Applied through an agency. Interview started late after I listened to one of the interviewers talk down to a member of staff while I was waiting for them to find time to interview me. Was walked past on a number of occasions without an introduction or apology. Very poor prior prep on their part, no overview of the role, no information offered about the contract or line management, had clearly not read my CV. Asked “competency questions” that google could have answered. I was in a cramped uncomfortable room arching to avoid a shelf above my head and within distance to see X marks across a page, very de-moralising and un-motivational. I was made to feel that I was 40mins in their day that they didn’t have spare.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Competency questions, that required no competency to answer, as the answers could have been provided through a quick google search.
Fast and decisive. I went through 3 rounds of interview - HR, Hiring Manager and The CEO. The whole process took around 2-3 months. They approached me through recruiter. It was smooth process especially for this particular scope my experience is relevant to the role I was applying
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ENGIE (Courbevoie)
Interview
3 entretiens . Plutot structurés et bienveillant dans la demarche. Pas de questions pieges. Le suivi est plutot bien realisé mais parfois peut prendre trop de temps car centralisé au niveau RH.
the first phone screening was very good and the recruiter was very nice, asked about my motivation as well as my skills. overall good experience! still waiting for a positive feedback and hopefully an offer.
