The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Outer Ring Road) in Dec 2018
Interview
I was interviewed at dell emc on 8 December,2018. Most importantly I was not prepared for the interview. I got a call just the day before from some consultant when I tried refusing I was kind of mind washed to attend the interview. My first round was UI. I was questioned on angular js, HTML, css all of which I am not comfortable in. I informed the interviewer that I am good at back end. He made me wait in some corner and went few inches ahead and gave very bad comments about me. When he returned I told him I want to leave. He told me that they would like to interview me on my back end skills and made me wait outside. I was called in for second round in 5mins. Now some other guy took my second round and he mistook me for some other person and left in middle and my interviewer for second round changed. Even after hearing from me and the interviewer panel, he continued with his questions on angular. After couple of questions with no answer he moved to java and asked me about oops concept. Even though I was answering them right, he tricked me into feeling I was wrong and told me straight to me face “you are 5 and half years experience and you are struggling with basics itself “ Without even giving me a chance to explain what I know.
I understand that interviewing someone could be a very tedious task and it’s frustrating sometimes but you need not be so rude and hurt someone’s feelings. I started crying literally on the stop after being treated so badly I couldn’t stand being in that room anymore. I left the place immediately.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Bengaluru) in Nov 2018
Interview
Have appeared for Dell R&D Bangalore center, one single line of feedback is "Complete waste of time". The interview panel was not aware of which team they will be hiring and for which position they are conducting the interview. They have some big team, for which they were taking the interview. Randomly they were checking where they can fit you in their team layers.
Moreover they conducted the interview on a weekday, so I had to take full day off from the office. I was told told that the interview would start from 11 am sharp, anyhow the first round started at around 11.30 am, it went till 1 pm, the folks who were suppose to take my second round went for lunch somewhere outside and I was kept waiting in their reception lobby till around 3 pm.
And when the interview started I was thrown some random topics which were not at all related to my CV.
Advise to interview panel:
When you are taking interview of a senior resource, please have a clear picture in your mind for which position you will be hiring.
Please ask questions related to the skills required for that particular position.
Please don't ask freshers kind of questions and do respect others time. We are not freshers, we are working on a similar reputed MNC's.
