I applied online. I interviewed at Databricks (Belgrade) in Jan 2026
Interview
there were 2 stages: coding and algorithms. in coding i had to write methods and tests for a LazyArray, in agorithms there was a problem where i had to use set(i was writing in c++) but the interviewer asked me how else could i implement the code with all possble data structres, array, heap etc and analyse runtime of these alternative solutions
Recruiter was super nice and so was my technical interviewer. I got asked to solve a leetcode med-hard problem involving file systems, and unfortunately wasn’t able to crack it. It was probably one of the harder technicals I’ve had, but the interviewer was nice and I had a good experience.

Comparable to a leetcode med-hard question, but nothing like it is on leetcode from what I’ve searched after.
I applied online. I interviewed at Databricks (Bellevue, WA) in Oct 2025
Interview
No online assessment, straight to first round.
First round was recruiter call going over resume and availability.
Two back-to-back interviews, one is an algorithm-based interview, and the other is a pure technical.
Received third tie-breaker interview due to technical being poor.
Rejected after 3rd interview.
After passing 2 technical rounds, last round is hiring manager for team matching.
