I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Singapur)
Interview
It was a Video Interview with a time limit. Each question had 1 to 2 minute to answer.
Had to prepare headphones with microphone for the interview. The questions were pretty common that you can expect from the other interviews.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Nov 2018
Interview
Very slow and convoluted process. The HR team lacks enthusiasm and never keep up with their timeline with regards to the hiring steps. It’s took them 3 months to get through a pretty simple series of interviews. Once I got there, on the field day, I observed a rather dull team. My impressions about the hiring team were very negative in that they seemed to be rather insecure and not very talented.
My advice to HR executive management is to reorganize a rather tedious bureaucracy and make the organization more dynamic. Also hire more talented and enthusiastic people to represent the company in the hiring process.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Melbourne) in Nov 2018
Interview
Overall the interview was okay.
First interview is the video interview.
They give about 5 questions and there is a time limit of 1 minute each.
Just have to be prepared.
The second interview is face-to-face interview, it was held at the Bloomberg office in the city.
Very resume-focused, lots of questions relating to past experiences and theoretical questions to see how you think. The interviewer was nice and a good balance of formal and casual. The interview lasted for about an hour.
