The interview process went well. However at last step before last interview they informed me in between while I'm preparing my self for last interview that the job has been filled in internally. This happens twice

I applied through internal reference. I was contacted by the recruiter. Initial screening was done by a HR person. Second round was from a Sr PM from the group. Selected for a third round of technical interview. That interview was extremely detailed.

2. Technical questions detailing various aspects of solving deeper video streaming problems.
Phone call with recruiter, then behavioral and technical questions with one person. Lastly, a 6 person interview, one technical session. Took the entire day. Recruiting process was a bit long.
