Was flown out to Bellevue for in person interview. Interview coordinator was super helpful. They gave me all the information I would need for the interview. The interview lasted almost the whole day. I arrived at 8a and left around 3p. I was in a conference room and an interviewer would come in and do an hour interview. Then someone took me for coffee. Then a third person interviewed me for about an hour. Then I was taken out to eat lunch. I was brought back followed by two more rounds of interviews from two more people. The hiring manager scheduled a separate call for their part.

Question 1
Give me a time when you had to tell a co-worker they were not meeting the standards of the team.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Interview Process consists of 4-5 interviews. One of the interviewers will be the hiring manager and one will be a bar raiser. Each interview will cover one or more of the AMZN leadership principles (LP) - be sure to ask the recruiter which LPs you should concentrate on. To prepare, document examples that speak to each of the LPs, using the STAR format - bring these with you to your interview. When interviewing, you will be asked a question; e.g. - "Tell me about a time that you did X." Answer only using the S/T of the STAR format. If you go into actions and results right away, you don't give the interviewer any options to ask questions and you don't want to do this.
