I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Hyderabad) in Sep 2016
Interview
There were four stages of interview process. The first one being the JAM (Just a minute) session. Here, I was placed in a meeting room with 20 other applicants and asked to speak about a topic of my choice for a minute or until I was stopped by the interviewer. About 5 of us were selected to go to the next round. The next round was a test on the computer to assess our writing, reading and comprehension skills in the English language. This took about 30-40 minutes. The third session was a phone communication round. This took another 20 minutes. In this round I was placed in a room with a phone and asked to read out specific sentence from a document they gave me. The last round was about a 15-20 minute interview with the Hiring Manager. This was the best one as, you get to have lots of human interaction. I enjoyed this and the gentleman that interviewed me was a perfect combination of liberal and assertive.
