I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
I was offered the online take the interview. I was sent the link about a week after I applied. There were 6 questions in roughly 10 minutes and it goes by very quickly. In the 30 seconds you have to prepare for each question, just focus on how to use the allotted time wisely. I understand this process saves time on the recruitment process, but a conversational Skype interview would be much better and allow your personality to shine through. I was notified 5 days later that I would not be continuing in the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All relatively usual questions. The only thing is prepare your answers with the allotted time, which was 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
What is your passion? Describe our company. What would you bring to the office environment? What other companies or career options are you looking into? When was a time you failed?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AlphaSights (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2014
Interview
used the online video interview platform. It can be extremely difficult if you're one who expects dynamism and interaction in an interview. It was awkward to just sit at a desk in your room while you engage with a camera on your laptop, only to realize that there is no feedback between you and an interviewer
