AlphaSights has a comprehensive but quickly moving interview process. I started by submitting my resume on their website (via Indeed), where candidates have to answer a few basic questions. I heard back within a few weeks and was invited to the next stage of the process, which used a software I was unfamiliar with called "Take the Interview." For this stage, I logged into a website and was shown a few fairly standard interview questions. After seeing each question, I had 30 seconds to collect my thoughts and then had to record a video response.
I heard back within a few days and was invited to the next step, a Skype interview. I spoke with a senior level employee for about an hour, starting with more standard interview questions and then getting more in depth about the company.
AlphaSights got back to me the next day and invited me to an on-site interview. For the meeting, I was given an exercise to prepare (an overview of a particular business and relevant experts). The on-site interview lasted about 2 1/2 hours, consisting of 3 separate meetings with a total of 5 employees. During the first interview, I met with 2 employees and received an exercise to perform (locating experts in the industry). The next interviews were more conversational.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The interviewee is comprehensively vetted by the end of the process, but this is just as much to make sure the job is right for the candidate as it is to make sure the candidate is right for the job.
