I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Preston, North West England, England)
Interview
Very long online application with maths questions and difficult scenario questions with very similar answer options. I was emailed to invite me to a hiring "assessment" which I had to wait a month to attend. When I arrived in store I was told to wait but was left on my feet for 40 minutes just walking around store as that's what staff told me to do until the manager was free, so my interview started 40 minutes late. The interview itself lasted around 10 minutes. The manager was not in a good mood and seemed she had made her decision before I had even sat down. It consisted of a few questions followed by another maths test which I was given a set time to complete. I was then told they would be in contact in the next few days via email.

Group Interview
Was told I was over qualified for the position however due to visa restrictions I was told to ignore any further emails from them even though I passed the initial interview. They don't want to "waste time" on people who are not full residents of Australia.
