ADP Account Executive interview questions

I filled out an app on LinkedIn and I was called that same day by a recruiter out of the area she normally covers. Then I went to a contract recruiter that scheduled me time to meet with the manager. That interview was very down to earth over their private video conference system. Personality questions. The next round was a role play that the territory manager was video conferencing into and I met in person with the manager. You should brush up on The Challenger Sale and asking deeper questions. It’s not just about knowing what is Paycom but being able to show you can build rapport with the C suite individual. I don’t think I did that well on this. The manager and new recruiter (so I changed recruiters 3 times) but the first one kept texting me the whole way, was on vacation for a week. So I never heard back from them and told them that I accepted an offer at another company. The interview experience was good because I got great feedback. But ultimately if a job offer was going to be made, I likely would’ve turned it town because I’m looking for something different when it comes to the management team that’s closer to a Simon Sinek leadership style.

Feedback was “we don’t think his timeline met ours, but he was great tho” lol WOW. No true understanding why I wasn’t given real feedback. Overall, my interviewer wasn’t prepared and I didn’t feel she was suited to take the meeting. Bad impression overall.
